Hygrophila lancea 'Araguaia' or Araguaia water friend loosens up all monotonous midground backdrops with its narrow, lance-like leaves in reddish colour and upright growth. The stem plant likes to form runners in good light and thrives densely, shrimps etc. love these small paradise forests. Aquascaping fans like to design sophisticated layouts with this 8 to 10cm high plant beauty - it has therefore been part of the "scene-known inventory" for years. Araguaia water friend has few demands on himself, but likes it sunny and appreciates medium temperatures and clean water. By the way, some species of snails prefer this stem plant as a crunchy snack...

Optimal temperature: 18 to 27°C
Water values: clear water, regular change
pH value: 5 to 7 tolerant

Propagation: runners, cuttings
Note: The cups are grown in the laboratory. Aquatic plants from the so-called in vitro culture are grown sterile. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimp and can be used immediately. With in vitro plants, there are no stowaways such as snails or parasites, and pesticides are also completely avoided.
